Welcome to GILGA

Green Island Ladies Golf Association was born from a simple vision: creating a space where the game of golf becomes a bridge for friendship and personal growth. We believe that every swing is an opportunity to learn, and every round is a chance to connect with one another.

Our mission is to empower women through sport, fostering a community that celebrates skill-building, mutual support, and the unique, timeless spirit of Green Island. Whether you are a seasoned player or just picking up a club, you belong here.

About GILGA

GILGA is a fun community of 20+ enthusiastic female golfers who come together for weekly organized play every Wednesday and/or Thursday. Our official season kicks off March 18th and runs thru October 28th, offering plenty of time to get lots of fun rounds in and forge new friendships.

Joining GILGA is not just about golf; it’s about being part of a supportive, relaxed, and fun group of women that share a passion for the sport.

The annual dues to join GILGA are $100, which covers enjoyable interactive range nights, pairing parties, spring mixer, end of the year party and support for Pink is the New Green Tournament. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or new to the game, you’ll find a welcoming and encouraging environment here at GILGA.
